Architects
who render

We are a team of nine architects and image makers in an old coffee warehouse by the river. We studied buildings before we learned to render them, and it shows in how we choose a view.

Small paper models of buildings on a sunlit table

The studio was started in 2014 by Noor Halden and Arlo Quint, two architects who were tired of seeing good buildings lose competitions because of bad pictures. Today we work for practices of every size, from two person studios to developers with a hundred sites, and we still draw every camera by hand before we place it in the model.

What we hold to

Three rules

Honest views

No impossible lenses, no buildings stretched to look slimmer. If the jury visits the site, the view must still be true.

Architects first

Half of the team trained as architects. We read sections, we ask about details and we notice when a stair does not fit.

Fixed fees

One price agreed before we start, with the number of views and rounds written down.
