Brief

The jury would see forty towers in one afternoon. Ours had to read in a second from across the room, and still hold up when someone walked close to the board.

Approach

We built the fins as real geometry and rotated them for every hour of a March day. The low morning sun gave the deepest shadows, so every view sits between 8 and 9 in the morning.

Delivered

Six stills at A0 print size, two night views and a diagram set that the architects reused in the planning application.

“The fins only made sense once we saw them in that morning light. That image won us the job.”
